Gel extensions: 3 to 4 weeks before a refill is needed. The growth gap at the base becomes visible and the set should be maintained. Acrylic extensions: 4 to 5 weeks before a refill. Stronger material means slightly longer wear between maintenance appointments. Gel overlay (no added length): 2 to 3 weeks before regrowth is visible.

What Affects How Long They Last

Water exposure
